I walk in the silence
of the floresta, the
quiet broken only by
the trill of a bird,
a rustle of grass as
something slithers
through.

I am at peace,
grateful for this time
of my life where I am
free to just be, to let
each moment unfold
as it will.

How wise are the
animals, butterflies and
flowers who live only in
the now, for indeed, it
is all there is, all else
is the illusion of our minds.

C PTSD - A Way Out

.
I long to accomplish great and noble tasks, but it is my chief duty to accomplish humble tasks as though they were great and noble.

The world is moved along, not only by the mighty shoves of its heroes, but also by the aggregate of the tiny pushes of each honest worker.

.
I stay humble and inspired by this lady and her insight, her lust for living in the face of more adversity than I have ever faced.
.
We sell ourselves short of what we can accomplish.
